Titanic Reflections

The area around the old Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast has seen a resurgence in recent years. At last, the home of the Titanic is making itself famous and this 'signature' building is a real statement about where this part of Belfast is going. Beautiful as it is during the day, it is at night when the building is at its best visually as it is lit in this wonderful blue/purple colour. The building is surrounded by a 'moat' of water and at a low level, close in to the structure, you can capture the whole reflection of the building. Makes a great canvas

Titanic Belfast

This image of the Titanic building in Belfast is taken from the actual slipways where Titanic was built. The height of the building represents the height of the bow of Titanic and if seen from above, the building is a star shape, representing the White Star Line which owned the RMS Titanic
