Winter landscape photo taken at sunrise in January. The group of trees are covered in snow giving a very cold feeling to the photo. The countryside is also covered in snow and there is also some low level mist in the village.
This is a minimalist landscape photo taken in January 2021 after some heavy snowfall the previous night. It was the very cold whiteout conditions that made these trees stand out in the snowy landscape.
Snowy Sunset in January 2020 from Boulsworth Hill in Lancashire. There were dark heavy storm clouds coming in from the right hand side of the frame and the sun was setting the the left of the frame which created some very dramatic skies with the high clouds. The foreground is the snowy rocks from Boulsworth Hill and the fence leading out to the horizon.
A lone bare tree stood in the middle of the grounds at Towneley Hall, Burnley. The dramatic colourful sky only lasted a minute or two as the sun moved through the low level mist.
