Garda is the largest of the Italian Lakes and the boundary between the Lombardy and Veneto regions almost cut the lake in half lengthwise. The very northern part of the lake is in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. It is popular with tourists and is about halfway between Brescia and Verona and on the edge of the Dolomites.
