Hill Head is situated on the south coast of England, overlooking The Solent from its north eastern shoreline. It is a small drying harbour that is crowded with local club moorings where it may be possible to take to the mud inside or to anchor well outside.

Just prior to the massive storm in October 2018, a boat is lifted from the harbour to take it out of harms way.
I captured this photograph on the eve of the severe weather that hit Mallorca in October 2018.
Late in the afternoon of on 9th October the clouds started to roll in. From a beautiful sunny day the sky's started to darken at the harbour side in Portocolom. What followed was an horrendous storm causing flooding and sadly loss of life.
The Beachy Head lighthouse and Seven Sisters chalk cliffs by the English Channel are located within the boundaries of the South Downs National Park in East Sussex between Seaford and Eastbourne.

The rock leaning onto the stack was placed there by quarrymen the 1870's after a natural arch was cut away. The leaning rock represents an open bible.
