Italian Aircraft Carrier C 551 "Giuseppe Garibali" leaving Grand Harbour (Port of Valletta), Malta at sunset.
The aircraft carrier has a complement of 500 crew and 18 aircraft (AV8-B Harrier II and.or SH-3D Sea King or EH-101 Merlin helicopters.
The ship had been alongside at Dockyard Creek, for many years the dockyard used by the Royal Navy (UK).
