Taken on a beautiful Summer's day. A must see when you go to visit Whitby! A beautiful sunset at Whitby Beach, but using a technique called ICM. This is Intentional Camera Movement. I put the camera on my tripod. And with a long exposure, using filters on the end of the lens, I swung the camera left to right to get this lovely, colourful and dynamic Sunset. Beacon Of Hope

The iconic 199 steps situated in Whitby, on the East Coast of Yorkshire, UK..... With a touch of magic and jiggery pokery!..... You can climb the 199 steps of the Church Stairs or use the footpath called Caedmon's Trod. The stone stairs, which replaced the original wooden steps, were built about 200 years ago and renovated between 2005 and 2006. There are landings to assist coffin bearers on their journey to the graveyard on the cliff top... Converted to mono and will be a lovely reminder of when you climbed up them, as prints, canvases, or other merchandise that is for sale.
