May is a great month to visit the Lake District and one of the best walks to see the carpets of bluebells in this one.
May is the best month to go to the Lake District for a good chance of seeing the bluebells in full bloom, the 2nd half of the month is usually best, though it varies from year to year.
Taken in May 2017, we were blessed with a calm day and mirror image reflections in the lake of the surrounding mountains and village.
