This is St. Mary's Lighthouse situated on the tiny St. Mary's Island, just north of Whitley Bay on the North East Coast of England. This small rocky tidal island is linked to the mainland by a short concrete causeway which gets submerged at high tide. A colony of seals populate the east side.
