Dunraven Bay on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, on a Winter Day in January. Dunraven Bay has been awarded SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) status, owing to the geology of the local rocks and cliffs.
The beach at Ogmore by Sea on the South Wales Coast on a bright winter day in January. The beach is within the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, and sits in the Vale of Glamorgan. Very popular with local people, and dog walkers, the beach is much frequented. The view is out to sea with a glimpse of Porthcawl off to the right.

This is the very top of the valley, with high hills and forestry all around. It is truly beautiful and for local folk, well worth a visit. The Garw valley for many years was a coal mining valley.
