This glorious old slipway has seen many boats launched and pulled ashore. I'd never been here before, but it featured high on my shoot list for the year. The day was a glorious spring day mixed with sun and soft clouds, the wave action was light and gave a soft run into shore.
This image was taken just over an hour after sunset at iso 100 with a 10 stop ND filter at f9 with a total exposure of 172 seconds to create the ethereal qualities. The low angle was created by myself tripod and camera being slightly more submerged than I had bargained for being just of the slipway on the seaward side.
