One of the many interesting shops on the Ile Saint-Louis Paris. This natural island in the middle of the Seine, is connected to the rest of Paris by four bridges to both banks of the river and to the Ile de la Cite by the Pont Saint-Louis. This island was formerly used for the grazing of market cattle and stocking wood.

Situated on the Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame Cathedral dominates the Seine River. Built in the Middle Ages, work started in the 13th century and finished in the 15th century. Badly damaged during the French Revolution, the cathedral was restored in the 19th century. A very popular tourist attraction.

The Louvre or the Louvre Museum is the world's largest art museum and an historic monument in Paris, France. A central landmark of the city, it is located on the Right Bank of the Seine. The large pyramid serves as the main entrance to the Museum. It was completed in 1989 and has become a landmark of the city of Paris.
