The statue Christmas truce, on display in Liverpool at Saint Lukes church (bombed out in 1941 blitz) superimposed upon the ww1 military graveyard at St Sever , France. At christmas 1914, the troops left their trenches and for a few hours, mixed with the enemy , swapped gifts and food. They even played a game of football.
