I happened upon a really wide angle shot of this image on Facebook and thought there was a great opportunity here. Having driven the two hours I was initially disappointed with the distance the stones were away.
After some consideration, I went for a slightly longer 80mm lens and low vantage point at f22 to compress the foreground with the background. It truly was a splendid few hours staying until after dark before returning home.
