Happisburgh Lighthouse, the Red Moon that Morphed into a lightning storm

Happisburgh Lighthouse is the oldest on the East Anglian coast and the only Independently operated lighthouse in Great Britain. It also faced the correct way to shoot the Red Moon Lunar Eclipse so we traveled 5 hours from the Midlands to Happisburgh lighthouse to shoot it and the Red Moon eclipse of 2018. Though the forecast for the cloud was one of the best for the country, we were soon engulfed in a thunderstorm putting an end to dreams of red moons lighthouses and softly bending wheat fields. Instead, we were treated to a display of sheet and fork lightning which I hope brings a smile to your face. This image is a blend of three frames all shot within a few seconds of each other.
