Len has been a professional photographer since 1984 and during that time has achieved an A level in Visual Arts (photography), a city and guild qualification in photography and was awarded the LMPA (Licentiateship of the Master Photographers Association).  He is a member of two Photographic Societies including the world-renowned Smethwick Photographic Society.  He regularly competes in photographic competitions at club and international level.

Len now currently holds the highly regarded and much sought-after Distinction of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (DPAGB).

After running a wedding and portrait photography business for 8 years in order to fund his personal work, he eventually gave up the wedding business in order to spend more time traveling the UK and Europe with his camera. 

Throughout the years Len has used a variety of cameras, from 35mm film, medium format film and large format “5 x 4” field cameras. He now uses only top quality digital equipment and he produces images in a number of different genres including landscapes, travel, still life and architecture, supplying images to a number of international image libraries. He has had many images published in calendars, postcards and photographic magazines.
