Elvet Bridge Durham

Elvet Bridge Durham

Elvet Bridge is a medieval arched bridge across the River Wear in the city of Durham. It is the oldest bridge on the River Wear. The rowing boats in the foreground are extremely popular with tourists who vie for space on the Wear with the University scullers who row their streamlined rowing boats up and down the Wear all day.
