Red Squirrel in Monochrome
Red Squirrel in Monochrome
This image was converted to black and white/monochrome, to give an effect of an old newspaper cutting type of style. The beautiful Red Squirrel can be found in Wensleydale, where a patch of pine trees have been maintained by Rangers specifically for the area. Red Squirrels were in decline at one point due to the introduction of American Greys which carried Pox, which in turn, although didn't effect themselves, they nearly wiped out the Reds. Fortunately, pockets of Reds can be seen in Scotland, and in particular, The Lake District, and now this healthy pocket in Wensleydale. This cute and cuddly Red Squirrel image would look divine on any home or office wall as prints or canvases or even other types of merchandise that is available for sale.
