Wensleydale
Wensleydale
A view looking over Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales looking towards Ingleborough shot from Buttertubs Pass which separates Wensleydale and Swaledale. The tall peak on the right side of the horizon is Ingleborough, the second highest peak in the Dales. The sunlight illuminating the patchwork of meadows showing their lush green hues provides a focal point to this iconic English countryside view. The Yorkshire Dales is one of the best known national parks in England and with views like this there is no wonder why it is so popular with visitors.
