Winter Sheep Feeding at Coldberry, Teesdale

Winter Sheep Feeding at Coldberry, Teesdale

A flock of sheep tuck in to some hay provided as winter fodder, at Coldberry mine, Teesdale. Coldberry was once one of the largest lead mines in Teesdale, and the extensive remains of it are a dominant feature in the landscape. In this view, the two buildings on the horizon centre are the former stables and mine shop. The ruined roofless building just below the horizon right is whats left of the former explosives store.
