Completed in 1826 the bridge connects mainland Wales with the island of Angelsey and carries the A5 road from London to Holyhead. In the background snow still clinging in parts to the mountains of Snowdonia. The bridge is a Grade 1 listed building.

Afon Lugwy makes its way through Betws-y-Coed in the Conwy Valley in Caernarfonshire. The town is close to the border with Denbighshire and has become a popular with visitors to Snowdonia.
Llandudno is a seaside town in North Wales sandwiched between the Great Orme and the Little Orme. An early 20th century tramway reaches the summit of the Great Orme in two sections. The Grade 2 listed building pier, 700metres long, is home to shops, amusements, a ferris wheel and cafes and was originally opened in 1877.
