October 2019 we sailed down the East Coast of Australia from Mackay to Melbourne. I was very apprehensive about Bass Strait as it as know to be a treacherous body of water. This image was taken south of Lakes Entrance as we are heading for Melbourne and another night sail.
Some of the sunrises at the lagoon are spectacular. The bird life is prolific with a range of water birds. This morning was no exception

As the sun got lower I was more excited with the reflections and colour.
