I am a keen photograher based in County Durham, north east England. Married with two pussy cats. The countryside up here is stunning and very inspirational. My core interests are horticulture, wildlife, botany, countryside walks and as a retired ecologist I am passionate about all things to do with the natural world. If it grows, crawls, runs or flies I will have an interest in it. I use cannon equipment, I have a bridge camera that takes nice macro shots and favour my canon 5dMK2 for general landscape photos, along with several L series lenses. I'm now hankering after the newer mirrorless cameras, but that will have to wait!
