To distinguish it from a number of other rivers of the same name, this river is often known as the Bristol Avon. The river has a total length of 120 km.

Mount Teide Cloud Inversion

Having driven up through the clouds on Mount Teide I stopped to capture this photograph looking down between and over, pine trees and the cloud inversion below. With the volcano behind me I looked down onto these vibrant pine trees, the low level clouds and higher clouds somehow separated from the inversion below. Mount Teide is a volcano on Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic Ocean, The cloud inversion in meteorology terms, is a deviation from the normal change of an atmospheric property with altitude.

The Road to the Cloud Inversion

Having driven up through the clouds on Mount Teide and walking up near the volcano, we started the drive back down to sea level. We stopped to capture this photograph looking down down the road as is twisted its way down to capture the view of the road as it led away as iff ending at the cloud inversion below The low level clouds and higher clouds somehow separated from the inversion below. Mount Teide is a volcano on Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic Ocean. The cloud inversion in meteorology terms, is a temperature deviation from the normal change of an atmospheric property with altitude.
