Bellagio Steps
The steps from the shores of Lake Como to the upper town of Bellagio. Bellagio sits at the northern end of a peninsula which splits the two legs of Lake Como which is shaped like an upside down Y. Known as the Jewel of the Lake there are beautiful villas, quaint cobbled streets and the wonderful scenery around the centre part of the lake
Portsmouth
You'll be passing by the Royal Naval Dockyards, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior, the Spinnaker Tower and Gunwharf Quays as you leave Portsmouth crossing to the Isle of Wight, France or Spain. Portsmouth became a city in 1926 and was a major centre for the departures for the D-Day landings during World War 2
Llandudno
Llandudno is a seaside town in North Wales sandwiched between the Great Orme and the Little Orme. An early 20th century tramway reaches the summit of the Great Orme in two sections. The Grade 2 listed building pier, 700metres long, is home to shops, amusements, a ferris wheel and cafes and was originally opened in 1877.
Rest and be Thankful
Below the modern A83 road runs the old military road engineered by General Wade after the Jacobite rebellion. The Rest and be Thankful is a mountain pass viewpoint dividing Glen Kinglas from Glen Croe. Its name was coined by people travelling the country who would stop, rest and be thankful that they have reached the top of their climb.
Honeymoon Island
Officially Tarbet Island this little island in Loch Lomond is also known as Honeymoon Island. It was thought that a marriage would be successful if newlyweds were sent to the island for one week and were still on good terms at the end of that time! Loch Lomond is the largest of the Scottish lochs
Clachan Bridge Seil Island
Also known as the Atlantic Bridge, Clachan Bridge links the mainland to Seil Island some seven miles south west from Oban. The bridge, built in the 18th century, crosses a narrow sea channel. Seil Island is one of the Slate Islands, a group in the Inner Hebrides, also known as the islands that roofed the world.

Garda is the largest of the Italian Lakes and the boundary between the Lombardy and Veneto regions almost cut the lake in half lengthwise. The very northern part of the lake is in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. It is popular with tourists and is about halfway between Brescia and Verona and on the edge of the Dolomites. The town of Garda is on the eastern shore of the lake. This is a part of the path from the town heading towards Bardolino

The Old Quarry
Winspit was a working quarry until around 1940. It is close to the village of Worth Matravers in Dorset. The caves are a result of the workings and have featured in several TV shows including Dr Who and Blakes 7. The site is popular with climbers too. The South West Coast Path runs along the top of the rockface.
Boscombe Pier
A pre sunrise shot of the pier which was opened in 2008 after the previous pier had been closed in 2005. There has been a pier in the location since the original was opened by the Duke of Argyll in 1889. The pier entrance building is a Grade II Listed building. Europe's first artificial surf reef was built just to the east of the pier
Jurassic Mupe
From the rocks in the small cove at the western end of Mupe Rocks. This part of the Jurassic Coast is part of the land requisitioned by the MOD during World War 2 and access to this area is still restricted to certain times. The rocks are at the western end of the bay home to Mupe and Wordarrow Bays, Arish Mel and Worbarrow Tout
The Sleeping Elephant
Hillsborough Nature Reserve, or The Sleeping Elephant as it is known to locals, is a headland between Hele Bay and Ilfracombe Harbour on the North coast of Devon. The high point of the headland has Iron Age ramparts and the Chapel of St Nicholas and Damien Hirst's Verity can be seen at the entrance to the harbour
Old Harry Rocks
The white cliffs of Ballard Down, Handfast Point and the chalk sea stack known as Old Harry Rocks. These rocks mark the eastern end of a stretch of the south coast from Exmouth at its western end known as The Jurassic Coast. For those who have travelled the South West Coast Path from Minehead these stacks are the last major landmark they would pass as they close in on the eastern end of the path at the entrance to Poole Harbour some 6km away
Mupe Rocks
From the clifftop overlooking the line of rocks known as Mupe Rocks with Mupe Bay, Arish Mell and Worbarrow Bay just beyond. This part of the Jurassic Coast is in an area requisitioned by the MOD in 1941 and access to the area and the South West Coast Path that goes through here, is still controlled today.
