I’m a landscape photographer based in North Yorkshire with a love for wild remote places such as the western isles of Scotland and the arctic regions of Norway and Greenland. We live in a beautiful land, but few of us actually see and appreciate this beauty, so my photography is dedicated to recording this beauty. I feel privileged being in a beautiful place, with glorious light and able to capture an image to share with others.

France - Provence
A collection of images from the Provence region of France, bordering Italy and the Mediterranean Sea, it is known for its diverse landscapes, from the Southern Alps and Camargue plains to rolling vineyards, olive groves, pine forests and lavender fields. To the south is the Côte d'Azur (or French Riviera), where the elegant city of Nice and glamorous resort towns such as Saint-Tropez and Cannes line the coast.
Lake District
We’ve rarely visited the Lake district over the last 20 years or so, for reasons which we won’t go into, but we finally had the opportunity to go for a week in November 2016. Snow the day before we went meant that there was a lovely dusting on the fells and cold temperatures and clear skies gave us some great conditions.
Scotland, Mainland
As you can see, we regularly visit the western isles of Scotland but have often marvelled at the beauty of the Loch Lomond and Great Glen areas as we travelled through them, so in 2012 we decided it was about time we spent some time in these lovely areas and we weren’t disappointed.
