This picture shows a view across Dover Harbour taken from the Prince of Wales pier on a calm day. Towards the right of the picture you can just see the busy Port of Dover, with the famous White Cliffs behind. To the left you see a line of grand old buildings along Dover seafront, with Dover Castle looking down over the town.

We print with a 12 colour process, this means we can print a much larger colour range than most printing companies that normally use a 4 or 8 colour process. All sizes for our satin paper prints are in inches. Please note our prints are supplied without mounts or frames.

French Grunts Fish Sheltering at Thunderdome
This picture shows a school of French Grunts sheltering at a popular dive site called Thunderdome off the Bahaman islands of Turks and Caicos. French Grunts (Haemulon flavolineatum) are yellow fish with horizontal silver stripes running the length of the body and diagonally-oriented stripes below the lateral line of the body. They are found in the Caribbean Ocean and like to travels in schools. The average size of an adult specimen is 6 to 10 inches.
Bamboo and Morning Mist near Tatopani, Himalayas, Nepal
The foothills of the Himalayas are lush and green, in contrast to the stark scenery higher up. Here you can see backlit bamboo, against a backdrop of steep green hills which fade away into the morning mist. Taken near the settlement of Tatopani, on the Eastern arm of the Annapurna Circuit.

Kayak and Inflatable Ring at Sunset Palolem, Goa, India
A man out kayaking is watched by a young boy in an inflatable ring at sunset in Palolem Bay, as the sun sets spectacularly into the sea. Taken on the beautiful beach at Palolem, in the south of the favourite holiday state of Goa in southern India. Palolem attracts a good mix of domestic, Indian, tourists; holidaymakers from Europe; and backpackers and other long-term stayers. Palolem is renowned for its mile-long crescent-shaped beach.
Caribbean Reef Shark Swimming Into Shot
A Caribbean reef shark, Carcharhinus perezi, swims stealthily past the lens, close to the coral reef. Measuring up to 3 metres long, the Caribbean reef shark is one of the largest predators in the reef ecosystem, feeding on a variety of fishes and cephalopods. Taken whilst diving off Providenciales, Turks & Caicos.
Sunrise Temples, Bagan, Myanmar (Burma)
Bagan - or Pagan as the British called it - was the most important city in Myanmar from the 11th century AD until the end of the 13-century, when the Mongols invaded. During that time over four thousand temples were built in an area of 40 square kilometres, and well over two thousand remain intact today. The stupa-strewn landscape is particularly spectacular at sunrise at sunset.

A baby grey langur monkey yawns as he holds onto his mothers soft fur. Taken at Ranthambore Fort, in the Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambhore in Rajasthan is one of the largest national parks in northern India. Ii was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973, and became a national park in 1980.

Leh, in the Indian Himalayan region of Ladakh, is a dream of a place for outdoor enthusiasts. One popular option is downhill mountain biking. Get a lift up to Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, and then freewheel down on a mountain bike, surrounded by superb scenery - great fun - and this is the view you get on the way down.
Bright Green Rice Field, Himalayas, Nepal
The impossible greens of a rice - or paddy - field are dazzling to the eye. A couple of simple huts, home to the farmer, are dotted about the field. In the distance you can see the terraces of more rice fields; much of the land at this level is cultivated. The foothills of the Himalayas are lush and green, in contrast to the stark scenery higher up.

The rising sun shines gently through the soft morning mist, picking out the colourful fields below. In the background the pine-covered mountains of the Himalayas give a sense of scale. Taken near the lofty village of Pisang along the trail of the Annapurna Circuit in the Nepali Himalayas.
Sunset on the River Kwai, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
A stunning sunset on the River Kwai in Western Thailand. The River Kwai - or the Khwae Yai River, as it is more accurately known - is a tributary of the the Mae Klong River, which flows through Western Thailand. It came to the worlds attention during World War II, as the infamous Burma railway crosses the river at Kanchanaburi, not far from where this picture was taken.
Circumambulating the Stupa, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Valley, Nepal
Boudha, or Boudhanath, is situated in the Kathmandu Valley, around ten kilometres from the capital. It is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal. Boudha is on the ancient trade route from Tibet, and many Tibetan exiles have settled here. The stupa at Boudha is the largest in Nepal. Buddhists believe that circumambulating - or walking around in a clockwise direction - a stupa creates merit.

Fu are Chinese Guardian Lions, placed outside buildings to protect them. This stone fu is protecting a small courtyard temple. Behind the statue are three prayer wheels. The wheels have the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum on the outside, and are filled with pieces of paper on which further mantras are written. Spinning the wheel in a clockwise direction earns the same merit at saying the mantra hundreds of times.
Sheep and Goats in Lahaul Valley, Spiti, Himalayas, India
A herd of sheep and goats are shepherded through a remote valley by a handful of hardy men. The rocky and inhospitable landscape belongs to the Lahaul Valley, in the Himalayan state Himachal Pradesh in northern India. In the distance snow-capped mountains tower over the land, contrasting with the bright blue sky. From November to April this region gets around two metres of snow.
The Path to Thorung Phedi, Annapurna Circuit, Himalayas, Nepal
The undeniable highpoint - literally and figuratively - of the Annapurna Circuit is the high pass of Thorung La, which reaches the dizzy heights of 5416 metres above sea level. To reach the base camp at Thorung Phedi, where you will rest for the night before attempting the pass, you must traverse huge slopes of shale by way of a narrow path. The monumental mountain scenery puts the world, and your place in it, into perspective.
Dover Castle at Sunset
The magnificent mediaeval castle that we see today at Dover dates back to the 12th century, and has long be key to the defence of England. The site has been used even longer, with earthworks dating back to the Iron Age. Dover Castle is a popular tourist attraction today, and the wartime tunnels in the cliffs beneath the castle are of great interest.

Rafting on the Zanskar River, Ladakh, India
Leh, in the Indian Himalayan region of Ladakh, is a dream of a place for outdoor enthusiasts. One popular option is rafting on either the Zanskar or the Indus Rivers, surrounded by superb scenery. The aim in this white water rafting is not to fall in - the icy temperature of the water means that some people have died doing this activity; fortunately the rapids are not too fierce.
Taj Mahal in Perspective, Agra, India
Built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is sometimes called a symbol of eternal love. The marble mausoleum, which can be found in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, is simply exquisite. The figures, and the linear perspective, in this shot help to give a sense of scale.

Dune 45 and a Lonesome Tree
Dune 45 stands at a height of 170 metres, so is a baby compared to some of the dunes in the area, which rise to 300 metres, making them amongst the highest in the world. It is so named as it stands at 45 kilometres along the gravel road that connect the Sesriem gate and Sossusvlei. It is probably the most photographed dune in the region. In this black and white shot you can see the dune in pristine condition, unblemished by footprints.
Monks on U Bein Bridge, Myanmar
One of the former capitals of Myanmar, Amarapura is on the outskirts of Manadalay, in the north of the country. One of the most popular sights to see in Amarapura is U Bein Bridge, the longest teak bridge in the world, measuring 1.2 km. This shot shows a group of young monks crossing the bridge, silhouetted against the orange glow of sunset.
Napoleon Wrasse Fish
The Napoleon wrasse is known by many names, including Maori wrasse, humphead wrasse and Napoleonfish. Males can grow up to two metres long, and live for 25 years; females grow as long as one metre, and live for around 30 years. Their diet includes shellfish, sea stars, sea urchins and crabs, and they eat a number of toxic creatures, which makes them an essential link in the underwater food chain.
Young Rhesus Macaque Monkey with Food in Cheeks
Whether its the influence of the Tibetan monks chanting in their gompas, or the fresh mountain air, the Rhesus Macaque monkeys around the Indian town of Dharamsala are unusually relaxed. They certainly have no problems finding food, as many of the Tibetans in exile who live in the Himachal Pradesh town (also home to the Dalai Lama) leave scraps out for them. This cheeky young ape has his cheeks jammed with leftovers that have been laid out for him at the side of the road.
