Sailing Past Beachy Head Lighthouse East Sussex
Sailing Past Beachy Head Lighthouse East Sussex
A sailing boat passing the Beachy Head lighthouse and nearby chalk headlands in East Sussex. The white chalk cliffs of the Sussex coast offer some of the finest coastal scenery in the UK and are now part of the South Downs National Park. Beachy Head's lighthouse entered service in 1902 and was manually operated until 1983, it is now automatic.
