Beautiful rocks at Widemouth beach, Bude, North Cornwall. The Bude Formation at Widemouth Bay is comprised of discrete black marine mudstones and thickly bedded deltaic sandstones. In contrast to the Crackingtion Formation, siltstone is also present in the Bude Formation. Composite turbidite beds are also present.
